What’s New in PS 2026

The Remove Background and Select Subject tools have both received major upgrades. The Cloud model had an upgrade for even better results, as did the Device model, so you don’t necessarily have to send your photos to the cloud and can save a bit of time generating selections.

Adjust Colors [Ps25] allows you to adjust the Hue/Saturation of the colors that are in a photograph, as an adjustment layer.

Each of these settings are found on the Contextual Tool Bar.

Harmonize [AI] has been added to the Contextual Task Bar, allowing you to composite images quickly and easily by generating/harmonizing lighting and shadow effects automatically for newly added images to seamlessly blend into the background.

Generation History can now be found in the Home screen, which will display images that were generated in Adobe Firefly.

Generative Upscale has been added to the Image menu. You can use one of three options to enlarge photographs using AI: Firefly Upscaler, or one of the Partner Models of Topaz Gigapixel or Topaz Bloom.

Addition of Color and Vibrance has been added to the Adjustment Layer menu allowing to control the Temperature, Tint, Vibrance and Saturation.
