The Future of Cyber Crime

Section IV includes three modules: (1) Ransomware, (2) Hacktivism and dis/misinformation campaigns, and (3) National and International Perspectives and Response to Existing and Emerging Trends. The goal of these three modules is explore the changing nature of cybercrime within the twenty-first century. Particular attention is given to the influence of ever-changing technology, international affairs, and unanticipated forms of digital crime and extremism once considered merely theoretical.
